Walk up the submerged train and enter the train on the adjacent rail. Grapple on to the hook to pull down the rail's support column to cause the track and carriage to tumble into the sewage. Now that Batman has rejoined you, go back to the subway carriage and use the Sensor Suit to uncover a grappling spot. Stand on either button to temporarily disable the fire streams, letting Batman get across. Climb up the ladder and move over to the gas pipes. Destroy the panel and surrounding objects to get parts for a motor attached to the wall, resulting in a ladder dropping down. Walk through the toxic sludge as Robin and use his vacuum/air gun to destroy the shining yellow latches on the wall, causing a panel to fall to the ground. With the pipes connected, water can now flow into pit to the right, letting you swim across or jump across using the wooden palettes.Īs you round a few corners, you're confronted with either deadly fire-spewing pipes or a huge pool of toxic waste. Rotate the pipes to form a continuous path between both ends, then release the two valves on both pipe endings.
Use Batman's Sensor Suit to see through the bricks. Hook on to the grapple spot and pull of the latches to cause a screen to extend and expand, displaying a wall of green bricks. You can test out the Sensor Suit's abilities by using it among the swarm of bats on the wall, revealing a grappling spot. The Sensor Suit lets Batman sense hidden objects and see through walls, and even comes with a useful stealth mode. Use your grappling hook to raise the cannon into position, after which it will automatically fire at the debris, clearing the path forward.Īmong the destroyed debris is a token that unlocks Batman's Sensor Suit. Collect 25 pieces and deposit them into the machine, which spawns a massive cannon beside it. More importantly, the Hazard Suit comes with a vacuum that lets you suck up the yellow, red and green objects lying around. Collect the token as Robin to unlock his Hazard Suit, which lets him move over green toxic waste without getting harmed. Use the blocks scattered around everywhere to build a waste disposal machine, causing a token to appear in front of it. After you've cleared the area, you should be left with some large yellow blocks and piles of brightly-colored debris. Now, go around and destroy the various crates and containers. Pulling it causes two drains to activate, draining surrounding water out. Jump across the multiple ledges to reach the lever. As either Batman or Robin, grapple up on to the ledge right next to the entrance.
